Nadaro Gormened is the wife of Vorzhis Gormened, Barizheise ambassador to the Untheileneise Court.

Appearance[]

She had dark skin.[1]

She had an "iron grace".[2]

Her name is pronounced with the accent on the first syllable, in the goblin fashion.

Personality[]

Nadaro was calm and mild, but supportive to Maia Drazhar and Nadeian Vizhenka.

Life[]

When Nadaro was young, Maru Sevraseched, the Great Avar, allowed Nadaro and Chenelo Drazharan, Nadaro's first cousin, to see each other occasionally, so long as Nadaro's father and Maru were allies.[2] This eventually changed.

After Chenelo died, Nadaro was seemingly limited in what she could do to mourn, which angered her. She lit candles for Chenelo.

Nadaro attended Maia's coronation.[1]

At the wake for Varenechibel IV, Nemolis Drazhar, Nazhira Drazhar, and Ciris Drazhar, Nadaro and Vorzhis approached Maia's throne and greeted him.[2] After Maia asked how Vorzhis was related to Chenelo, Nadaro explained that Chenelo was the daughter of Nadaro's paternal aunt.

Nadaro attended the dinner Vorzhis threw to announce the upcoming visit of Maru to the Untheileneise Court.[3] Maia escorted her into dinner. Maia asked her about trade goods, and she enlisted the aid of her other dinner companion, Mer Zhidelka, who began telling many tales of his adventures. After Maia's awkward speech, Nadaro asked Zhidelka to once again take up his tales, politely taking the spotlight off Maia.

At the luncheon after Maru's arrival, Nadaro was conversing with Nadeian, and Vorzhis brought Maia to them to talk.[4] When Nadeian began talking about all of Maia's aunts and their quirks, Nadaro mildly chided Nadeian, noting that Maia was Nadeian's nephew, not her enemy. Nadeian noted that she wished Maia to know, as no one else would tell him such things.

Relationships[]

Nadeian Vizhenka[]

Nadaro and Nadeian appear to be close.[4] Nadaro did not want Nadeian to get into trouble.

Vorzhis Gormened[]

Nadaro noted that Vorzhis was "ever serpentine."[4]
