Haru was a groundskeeper at Edonomee during the relegation of Maia Drazhar and Setheris Nelar.

Personality[]

Haru was honest, thoughtful, and seemingly a little awkward when talking.[1]

Life[]

Haru did all the outside work at Edonomee.[2] He sometimes pinned marsh vipers.[1]

It's possible that Haru no longer works at Edonomee, as the household was disbanded after Maia and Setheris went to the Untheileneise Court for Maia to be crowned emperor.[3]

Relationships[]

Maia Drazhar[]

Haru seemed to be polite but distant to Maia, and rarely spoke to him.[1] Maia learned curse words from him.[4]

Setheris Nelar[]

The staff would play dumb when dealing with Setheris, and it's possible Haru was one of those who did.[1]

Quotations[]

  • “I hope Your Lordship never finds yourself out in the marshes, but if you do, you test every step before you take it. Don’t trust it just because it looks all right, or because it was all right the last time you stepped on it. Because it won’t be the same. And because the Edonara takes its own sacrifices”[1]

Trivia[]

  • Haru slept like the dead.[2]
  • One of Haru's helpers seemed to experience epileptic fits.[5]
