Osmer Dalera Bazhevar was the eldest son of his family, the nephew of the Count Bazhevel, and the cousin of Stano Bazhevin. He was recommended as a potential husband for Vedero Drazhin.

Life[]

Dalera was the eldest son of his family. He was "a gentleman of good lineage, modest fortune, and no particular attainments or distinctions."[1]

After the death of Ciris Drazhar, the Stano's fiance, Stano was left in a complicated position, and Bazhevel suggested that Maia Drazhar marry Stano instead, as seeming recompense for Ciris' death, but in lieu of that, Dalera should marry Vedero.[2]

Maia had Csevet Aisava write to Bazhevel to tell him that Vedero and the Drazhada were still in mourning, and so no marriage alliance between Vedero and others would be considered for at least a year.[1] Dalera promptly sent an angry pneumatic in response.[3]

Maia arranged for Stano, at her wish, to join the household of Sheveän Drazharan, removing the burden of the whole situation - and Bazhevel's seeming bargaining chip to push for the marriage with Vedero - from the Bazhevada.[3]
